Please could I bring to the attention of the Forum the land for sale at the end of Bole Hill Road know as Reaps fields, next to Reaps wood. This field has not been managed or grazed for many years and has been enjoyed by local people for over 20 years as it links the Rivelin Valley to Walkley cemetery, with 2 well used paths. It is part of the designated Local Wildlife Site. Rivelin Valley Conservation Group reps & some local residents are working with Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust to see if the site could be acquired for wildlife and public access. They will need community support in terms of fundraising and volunteers. The Forums views and support on this idea would be most welcome. Link to sale doc is below.
